This running waist light securely fits into any access point on a FlipBelt and goes on the front of your hips, casting light at a lower angle than headlamps to allow you to see the ground more easily. When a running waist light is on your hips, it also dramatically reduces glare from reflecting back to your eyes, and it won’t bounce around like a headlamp since it’s attached to your center of gravity.Packing a powerful 500 lumens behind the industry-leading Cree XML U2 LED, our LED Running Light has a waterproof rating of IPX6, so you don’t have to worry about it getting wet while on your run. It has 3 light modes: low, high, and strobe. The burn time is up to 12 hours, and the light battery takes about 2 hours to fully charge via the included USB cable. This durable safety light is perfect for marathon runners, casual walkers, daily cycle riders, hiking enthusiasts, and anyone traveling on the go who needs a sturdy running flashlight they don’t want to carry in a bag.Designed specifically for use with FlipBelt Running Belts, this running-safety flashlight easily fits into any of the open compartments on the FlipBelt Classic, FlipBelt Zipper, FlipBelt Zipper Adjustable, and FlipBelt Elite Running Belts. My lasted 1.5 hours when new and now 5 minutes after less than one year** A: It sounds like yours was bad to begin with. Mine lasts several hours. Have you tried contacting FlipBelt's customer service? If you go to their website there is contact info for returns. **Q: Is the battery replaceable?** A: Yes. The FlipBelt Running Light uses an 18650 lithium-ion cell classified rechargeable battery which is slightly larger than a AA battery which provides superior capacity and discharge rates. You can find the batteries in both primary and secondary markets, including on Amazon.com. https://www.amazon.com/18650-battery/s?k=18650+battery Hope that helps! **Q: Where is it made?** A: The light is made in China. I have only used it a few times but I believe it is well made. I use it for running in the dark and it has worked well for that purpose. **Q: What are the lumens at each level and how long does the battery last at each one? Does the brightness fade as the battery discharges?** A: Great question!
