So at the time of party I took out all the alarms from my second floor apartment and none of the alarms from other apartments were triggered. I tested it and it produced enough fog to fill a room and it worked both with the remote and the wired switch. The red switches already feel a little loose and another reviewer had issues with them, so I have some concerns. Also, after releasing fog for less than the full time, it would continue to create bursts of fog every 30-60 seconds. For me, that's not necessarily a bad thing (more fog in little bursts might help to maintain the atmosphere), but any time I buy the cheapest version of something and it functions differently than expected, I get a little worried.
