She loved it so much she took one home with her. ordering more for my kitchen. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Apparently, the closest replacement for my old Kitch-a-majig *by J***D on August 10, 2021* Once you're used a Kitch-a-majig you'll know that it is one of the handiest tools in the kitchen. I have used a few, replaced them as the riveted connection of blade to shaft gave out and they broke. So, in the brave new world, Ecco no longer makes this, I am sure that Ecco no longer exists, really, and everything is made in China. Great. So, other reviewers complained that the spot-weld joining the blade to the shaft was weak and broke after a short time. I took note of that and have been using mine somewhat gently, but they seem pretty sturdy to me. The old Kitch-a-majig was not exactly a super sturdy tool either. I bought three of theses at once as I did not want to go without and the price was pretty cheap, I have to say. These are stainless, which is a boon. My old Kitch-a-majigs are chrome plated steel and after long use they do rust in spots where the plating wore away.
