They had been using a plastic riser on top of the toilet and underneath the seat cover. They usually lifted up the seat cover and sat on the insert. It was not at all comfortable. Also, it was difficult to clean all the parts at the top of the toilet. It was sometimes a real mess. This lifts the total toilet up. It is very sturdy and makes everything so much easier to keep clean. Got separate safety bars that go to the floor. They can be moved to either clean or use the toilet as a "regular" toilet now. Install was easy because I got a plumber to do it. All the parts were there. I wish I had seen this years ago. The bathroom looks so much better now and is very useable. Buy this either for your own home or as a gift for someone. I think it helps them to maintain dignity because it looks like a regular toilet set up just for them. It does look like a "throne".

**Q: what are the dimensions of the riser?**
A: It raises the toilet which is perfect height it sticks out about two inches on both sides of my toilet but is about two inches short in the front but works great no leaking is much better and safer then when I put the plastic seat on top plus you just clean your regular toilet you don’t have to also remember to clean under plastic seat and no having to remove seat for others to use

A: the ones i purchased are a pure white. they do not match the toilets exactly but you don't even notice after a while.

**Q: Does the toilet come with everything including wax ring to install toilet properly**
A: Yes, the toilet base did come with the wax ring. It comes with everything you need.

**Q: I have an oblong ada toilet.  less than 23 inches in length.  will this riser fit my toilet?**

Found this by accident when looking for plastic seat risers for a handicapped person. They had been using a plastic riser on top of the toilet and underneath the seat cover. They usually lifted up the seat cover and sat on the insert. It was not at all comfortable. Also, it was difficult to clean all the parts at the top of the toilet. It was sometimes a real mess. This lifts the total toilet up. It is very sturdy and makes everything so much easier to keep clean. Got separate safety bars that go to the floor. They can be moved to either clean or use the toilet as a "regular" toilet now. Install was easy because I got a plumber to do it. All the parts were there. I wish I had seen this years ago. The bathroom looks so much better now and is very useable. Buy this either for your own home or as a gift for someone.
