You need to figure out a lot on your own. Then you have to get the directions online to figure how to use the computer. Even then the directions were not a help. The biggest problem I had was with quality control. They must have been off the day they put my box together. Screws were half screwed in. One of the pads that screw into one of the arms was missing the plastic protection for the electronic arm. Over all I like the product. This is great for a good workout, and you will get out of it what you put into it (the same workout can be very intense or not intense at all depending on how much intensity *you* put into it.). The semi-cons: What this is not good for is serious MA or MMA training: there just aren't enough angles to attack from.
