A: I bought this fish to keep ants away from the pet’s food and it worked great. I would think it would do the same for roaches.

**Q: why do you have nonremovable stickers in this dish ?**

A: It really is more for ants since this is only a slightly raised dish to keep out a primarily ground type insect. If wanting to keep other insects out the best bet is a feeding station that is enclosed. I leave dry cat food out for a couple of the stray cats. It was always throwing out the leftovers because those ants were all over the food. I sure didn't want to bring them back inside the house or garage. Anyway, this crazy dish actually works! No ants. It doesn't keep the crows away but at least the boys (strays) don't have to fight with the ants for the food. I am purchasing another dish because, like most strays, they don't share.
