The 60 colors were repeats of some of the colors in the 120 box but I wanted to have spares. I love the box and it's design. It's perfect for my work set-up. Also, I had to return my first box because the top portion of the inner box that holds the sticks was broken. I got a replacement and all is well. I highly recommend.

**Q: Just got one of the last 60-piece sets this week, but several sticks appear used and colors are clearly not in "order," is this typical?**
A: Hi, I just bought the same set and the pastels are not in order to the photo either, however, i do not show that they were used. The foam on top of the pastels show no marks except the reversed side where the foam laid on of the pastels. The pastels do not show that the edges were used. All colors are there.

What can I say? They live up to being soft and buttery, coming out on top on even the darkest papers! Blendable, vibrant, and a joy to work with. I'm going to look into buying another set because I'd love to have more colors.
