I'm using two 27" monitor at 1080p 60 hz refresh and it's super fast switching over. By my count it takes a little more than 2s to switch and that's fine by me. I've had other switches on here that take a full 4 seconds to swap over so maybe my expectations are biased because of that. You don't need a power supply for it and it's as simple as plugging the HDMI cables into to have it up and running. It's plastic but it doesn't feel flimsy. Also there is a pad on the bottom to help keep it in place. The pad works for me but depending on your setup it might not for you.
