This was a 32 which was a U.S. size 0-3. It was way too small. The top fit fine, but the dress would not even close. I went for the next size up 34 (U.S. size 4-6), but even that was pushing it. The top was far too big but the dress was snug. I was afraid if she breathed too deeply she'd pass out for lack of oxygen. It seemed constructed ok, just the sizing is for large breasted women with tiny waists. There didn't seem to be any kid sizing and while I'm thinking of going to the next size I'm positive the top will be way too large. But I'd rather nip both the top & the dress in rather than have the dress too small for when the event arrives.Otherwise, it is a nice dress for the purpose it will be needed. The skirt on the dress is rather cheap nylon tablecloth material, but, again for the event it works. If the event were more upscale, I'd go with something that had better quality material. I agree this runs small--I am usually a size 6-8 and--the 8 zipped up perfectly with not a lot of room to spare. The embroidery and loops on the bodice are high quality for the price (no plastic or loose threads) and the fabric seems sturdy enough.
