     in my living room. I own an exercise mat, but use it in my bedroom over an interlocking gym floor mat, which is held in place by a heavy exercise bike to keep it stable. This is a pilates mat, and isn't really thick enough to run on in your socks. It's VERY stable, and doesn't budge an inch. I do however lay my exercise mat on top of this mat to form a cross. This does the job for me. This listing was also the lowest price when I bought this particular mat. Can't go wrong if you're thinking of getting a good pilates mat, or a mat to provide good traction on a tile floor.

Just needed a simple mat for once a week use by a novice user. This has been perfect. It rolls out flat, doesn't slide around, and is just the right amount of cushion. Smelled funny on arrival, but that was expected and with airing out for a day, it's completely fine. Been using it for a few weeks now without issue, but, again, it gets little use. So, if you're new and just want to try it out or know you won't be using yours heavily, this should work.
