**Q: Does it need an amplifier? Or you just connect it to your standard phone via the handset jack**
A: You can get a link cable to connect it with phone or laptop.This can not directly be connected to either phone or laptop.See my other listing for link cable.

A: Hello Lynette Mccleney - The leather ear cushions are included with the Jabra Biz 2300 USB headset, as well.  Thank you.

**Q: what is the difference between this and the 2325 (QD model) that is 1/2 the price?**
A: The USB duo is a one piece solution headset to USB.  The GN 2325 ends in a quick disconnect and still needs a lower cord to phone , usb or amplifier to work.

**Q: Hello, does anyone know is this unit works with a traditional phone (rj)? also, does the speaker reduce background noise and mic noise cancelling? thx**
A: I believe the headset will work with traditional phones, but you have to be careful to also purchase the correct jack adapter.  It's a two part purchase.  I purchased the headset and jack adapter specific to Cisco IP phones.  As far as noise reduction is concerned, it meets my needs very well.  It still allows for some minimal sound to come through, which I prefer so that I am aware of what is going on around me, but nearly eliminates all background noise for a clear and comfortable conversation.  Also, the party at the other end can hear me clearly without background noise interfering.  The headset is very confortable for long conversations.  Sometime I forget that I'm wearing it.

I have a home office and therefore a Cisco IP phone for business. I needed a good set of headphones that would filter out background noise and give me hands free for the computer as I consulted with clients. The Jabra BIZ 2300 is meeting these requirements splendidly. I didn't want noise elimination, because I do want to be aware of my environment. These do a good job of filtering out most noise, both for me and my client. Very comfortable. I recommend these if you have similar needs.
