The description does not mention a temperature range for operation.I have found that water runs into or accumulates somehow in the locking mechanism, forms ice in cold weather, and prevents the lock from opening even when the fingerprint is recognized.This makes the lock useless to me, as I live in the mountains where it gets below freezing in the winter. If you live in the Sun Belt or the Pacific Northwest even, this lock would be amazing.
