I sit 7-10 hours per day and my tailbone has not been happy and by the end of the day I am a wreck. I have now had this pillow for 2 days and there is little to no pain in my tailbone anymore! It does flatten quite a bit but if it didn't I would be sitting up to high. The only thing I don't love is the cover which seems like it will fall apart after a few washings.
