There's not much more to say than that they work.Since it's glass, you can heat food as hot as you want and not worry about plastic melting because the edges got too hot while hot the center was still cold. I loosen the lid and leave it on top in the microwave to keep in some steam, and it still works fine, and the lid has not melted or warped as would happen with a plastic lid. It's fairly easy to find glass containers with plastic lids, but I wanted to avoid plastic entirely and this does the job. I have not had any problems with the silicone seal leaking either. The lid isn't secured super tight, but it hasn't come off unintentionally in any cases for me.It's also worth pointing out that this is borosilicate glass, which is higher quality than the glass probably every other kitchen-grade glass product in your home is made of (if you live in the U.S.), and is basically indestructible. I have not tried dropping it on a hard floor yet, but I'm pretty sure it would survive that (I've dropped much thinner borosilicate glass from higher heights in my work).The only downside is that they're heavy. They're great for a daily trip to work, but if you add them to a backpack with some other things, it starts to feel really heavy. You won't notice this if you use them just for storage, but if you have portability in mind, it might come up. I'm wondering if these can't be made thinner given that they're borosilicate? ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cute LITTLE glass containers *by W***O on Reviewed in the United States on October 7, 2019* We bought these to replace the plastic Tupperware in our home in an effort to make some changes to products that are more durable and eco-friendly. I love that these have bamboo lids and the glass is very thick. They are very easy to clean, durable and sturdy. I have 2 issues that I would caution others on.1. The lids do not sit flat on the top of the glass containers, they seal and sit INSIDE the container and take up space that could otherwise be used for storage, which is a bummer. It would be as much of an issue but....2. 3 of the 4 containers are actually pretty small. I’ve posted pictures using a container of salt for reference, the smallest container could hold maybe 8-9 chunks of pineapple or olives. It’s that small. From the smallest to largest the containers (after the lid is on) range from 1”-2-5” deep. These are cute and can hold small amount of leftovers. Keeping that in mind, if that’s what you’re looking for these are great. If you’re a person who typically has a lot of leftovers, you might be better served purchasing containers with more space. I would LOVE to see these in much larger sizes for purchase. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great quality, know how to take care of them!! *by M***D on Reviewed in the United States on April 26, 2020* This is an excellent product. If you know how to CARE for bamboo. If you don't, the lids will get moldy and unusable. These lids come unstained, which is great, because all stain eventually wears off, and many stains are toxic to food.When I get brand new bamboo products, I like to go with an unfinished bamboo piece (or unstained/ no sealant). Then use food grade cutting oil for wooden cutting boards, after every use (after they dry after hand washing) for a about a week. Then, I usually reapply the cutting oil (to seal put excess moisture but to keep the bamboo properly conditioned) about once a month, maybe less maybe more depending on how much I use them and they dry out.If you properly take care of the bamboo lids, this product should last you a long, long time.
