The short handle is brilliant for navigating streets or for close work. I have given 4 stars for sturdiness as I haven't had the lead long enough to comment on it's durability. My dog often gives it a good tug but so far it is standing up well to regular every day use. The elasticity avoids jolting for both of us. I feel a lot more relaxed knowing the lead cannot be pulled from my hand as it is secured around my waste. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Hands free running!
