Like the caliper systems ?** A: Metal to metal: 08945 brake lube - back of pads - between shim & pad - any contact between backing pad and metal. Rubber to metal: 08946 paste - piston and boots - slide pins and boots **Q: compared to "Silglyde"?** A: I believe it is about preference. I have a 99 accord and I had been using the 3m brand when I change my pads 2 years after I bought my car. I used the napa brand silglyde on my daughters car and it is ok. But after a few days , my daughter complain about squeeking. So I lube everything again with the 3m brand and it works fine. Like the saying goes, you get what you pay for. **Q: just opened and used last night. is everyone's version of this clear or milky white? Mine was milky white and not clear like i thought this would be.
