Angelica Deluxe Child Costume

This child's sized costume fit my daughter perfectly, who is 5 years old. But immediately ripped after about one hour of mild play. The material is total garbage, definitely not worth $30. The seller would not send me a new one, and would not refund, indicating the costume is "not meant for play" and insinuating it was too small for my child. I would honestly give this seller 0 out of 5 stars if that were an option.

Our daughter got lots of compliments on this costume for a prate themed birthday party. A step up from the basic red and white striped pirate costume for girls. Like other reviewers mentioned, it's a great style made of lesser quality materials and manufacturing. You definitely need an iron to spruce it up and expect to use a needle and thread to reinforce for some edges. She wore her own black, cotton stretch pants instead of the costume pants but the blouse is the best part of the costume! This costume was on sale for $17 when I ordered and I was thrilled for the bargain and extra elbow grease to make it look better.

My daughter looked great in this costume. The sizing was spot on and over all we were pleased with this purchase. The only problem was that the material throughout was extremely thin. Luckily for us Halloween in Texas is usually warm and we were careful with the costume so we avoided any rips.

My daughter loves this pirate costume! I just had to resew the shoulders and part of the vest. It is not well constructed, but luckily I can sew, so I was able to fix it.

One star, only because I couldn't rank it any lower. "Pants" weren't much thicker than pantyhose, so we had to buy new leggings to replace them. Hat was horrible! A felt-like creation with almost no form, and a feather that wrapped around it, not "stood up". "Boot covers" were flimsy fabric that wouldn't even stand up, OR cover the shoes to the bottom ~ had to buy actual boots to replace. Belt and corset were flimsy and huge ~ had to do alteration work on both. Shirt was WAY short.Only thing remotely acceptable was the vest! Will never order from that particular costume company again. EVER!

My 6-year-old daughter LOVED this costume for Halloween, and I must say that I loved it on her. It transformed her! She became a swashbuckling heroine right before my eyes. It's not fantastic quality, but I wasn't expecting it to be given the price point. The boot covers were a nice touch and made the costume look much more realistic (she wore them over black jazz shoes). The hat arrived squished, but we were able to get it into shape by spraying it with a bit of water, shaping it on her head and letting it dry. A little big on her, but I have a peanut-sized girl so I'm not a good reference (we got the 4-6x). Great costume, and she has played with it since! Highly recommend getting a sword to go with it (little brothers beware!)

my daughter wore this last halloween and she really enjoyed it. my wife was also happy with the purchase and for the price, so was I. the seasonal stores often dont have the right size so we turn to the internet most halloweens and have yet to regret it.

My daughter looked great in this! However, we ended up buying real boots and a better hat (the one that came with was sad looking). But over all, really liked the costume. The material was good and fit was perfect.
