I have it in my room. I got this to try and cut down me getting sick. My immune system is suppressed so I get sick easily. I can blow my nose normal and I'm no longer having nose bleeds. My nose is not dry and my sinus are clear. I actually can get the stuff out of my nose instead of the constant head pressure from my sinus. I'm sure there are units that go up in price and quality is better but for all of u that can't afford that like me, this will help. I also have a Vick humidifier and use it in combination to ensure the air is good. U will not be disappointed and u will see the difference quickly. My room smells so fresh!!!
