The Eagle Water Pump Suction & Discharge Hose Kits are designed to work with water/trash pumps. Eagle Pump Hose Kits offer everything necessary to use your pump, including: suction hose, discharge hose, strainer, & any couplers or adaptors required. Hose assemblies come in two general types: pin lug and Cam & Groove. The essential difference is how they connect to the pump. Pin lug hoses are threaded onto the pump, much like a garden hose. Cam & Groove hoses use a "quick connect" system that locks on to the pump. Couplers and adaptors are used to connect the hose to either a pump or another hose and include: Cam & Groove, Water Shanks, Strainers, Elbows, Nipples, and more. Review: Heavy Duty - I bought these with a trash pump to drain some ruts left over from logging trees on my land. I also purchased a 2" nozzle so I can use it to suppress a fire if needed. although the output line is not heavy duty compared to a standard fire hose, it should do fine for what I need. The suction hose is very heavy duty and should last for years. The metal trash strainer works great.

I bought these with a trash pump to drain some ruts left over from logging trees on my land. I also purchased a 2" nozzle so I can use it to suppress a fire if needed. although the output line is not heavy duty compared to a standard fire hose, it should do fine for what I need. The suction hose is very heavy duty and should last for years. The metal trash strainer works great.
