I wanted it to be thin and it is and very light weight for a rug. I have this super strong clear double stick tape that words really well and if I had this on a smooth floor instead of anchored down by a table, i would use that tape on the corners. It will probably get pretty messed up with the rain and leaves but still, it classes up the area immensely. The weave is tight and strong from how it feels. I don't see why I can't just hose it down once in awhile if it gets really dirty. We'll see. The rug is thin. The rug slides on porcelain wood look tile. It’s so thin that I used a glue gun to attach a anti slip pad. It’s not going anywhere now. The rug I received matches the description listed.The dog has thrown up on it, it cleaned up well. No issue with that. The rug is soft on bare feet. I live in Texas, I don’t think this rug would survive being outside for longer than few weeks. It’s just too thin to withstand the elements.
