BOSCH 6064C HEPA Cabin Air Filter - Compatible With Select Ford Escape, Mercury Mariner

Installed on my 2006 Ford Escape. Although there was a place for this filter, there wasn’t one in place. Just dirty greasy air from the engine / outside. Noticed instantly the clean air. The air smells great too because it’s simply really clean and not chemically altered with smelling agents. This car is older and burns some oil this prevents almost all of that awful fuel smell from getting in the cabin. This is a HEPA level filter. Can’t recommend enough.

Was a little to big for my 2005 ford excape but I got it in

I carefully entered all the year, model and trim package to ensure I got the right product. Paid extra to get HEPA because my son has intense allergies. It’s a chore tearing into where Ford hides this thing…only to find the filter is just too big to fit without rumpling up. Removed some of the external foam that was the problem, and got a passable fit that way, but not as good a seal as I’d like, clearly compromises the HEPA quality.

The filter arrived in perfect condition. The cabin air filter fits very snugged in to my 04 Ford Escape. I had to squeeze it in a little. To get to my old filter, I had to remove the cover under the hood passenger side between the windshield and engine compartment to get to the filter. Easy to do and only took me about 30 minutes.

Filter did not fit properly and made of poor quality material.

Foam border seems like a good feature ,but it adds size to the filter making it necessary to force it into the tray causing distortion and wrinkles and air leaks around border. I bought this Bosch after getting burned with a similarly poor fitting Denso I bought last time. What is so hard about manufacturing a filter to proper dimensions? Geez!

Did not fit in my Ford Escape 06, that's why the one star. May fit other makes/models
