Review: Works very well... but... - I have a ski boat and need to be able to observe the people skiing and tubing behind my boat. This seemed like the perfect device. I have adapted it to my boat and it works perfectly for what I need. But... The mounting bracket is not as universal as one might think. I was able to install it on my windshield easily. But it isn't as secure as I need it to be. I frequently drive the boat over some choppy water. The vibration can cause the mirror to become "unmounted". The standard mount relies purely on friction. The frame of my windshield is very smooth aluminum. So there isn't much friction. I was able to resolve that issue by cutting a piece of extruded aluminum. That aluminum now catches on the edge of the frame of my windshield. It cost me about 10 cents. Otherwise, this is a great mirror. The angle is wide enough that I can watch skiers as the go from side to side. And I no longer have to turn my head to see what they're doing.
