I purchased a set to use to hang some furniture movers and also hung up some fishing oars. As for the furniture movers, they are very heavy and these hooks had no problem supporting them on the wall. I used one per mover and the hooks were screwed into studs. The fishing oars was more of a convenience and to get out of the way and weight was not an issue at all.
