This little gadget is a MUST HAVE even if you only use fresh garlic once a year. It takes up very little space in your kitchen doodad drawer. It feels substantial and sturdy in your hand. I used it for the first time last week and it was FUN! I might have added a tad of extra garlic to my dish just so I could use the garlic press. There's no such thing as too much garlic, right?! I digress. This product is easy to use. Simply take a clove of garlic- no need to peel it- and stick it in the little cup. Now close the cup, squeeze the handles and watch the magic! Here's where that little spoon thingy comes in. All the garlic comes out of the holes in the press like that play doh hair salon toy (yeah, you know the one!) and you just use the spoon thingy to scrape it all off right into your dish or measuring device. Voi-la!Now open that bad boy back up and miraculously the garlic peel is left behind!! That's where I did the happy dance!
