I decided to get the purple headband for my Tracks HD, but I believe the headband can be used across all the various models (Ultra, Tracks). The texture is slightly matte with a rubbery/powdery feel, and there was indeed a rubbery smell to it the moment I removed it from the packaging. However, after a few uses, the smell seems to wear out so it didn't bother me at all. The cushion at the top of the headband is the same quality/material as the headband that came with the original headphones. Very comfortable. The headband is durable to twisting and bending- as the brand claims, indestructible. I did try to twist and bend it lightly to check how it holds and I had no problems with it. What is astonishing to me is how far they can bend without breaking. I've had multiple headphones like Beats Studio and Solo HD break when I accidentally bend them too much.With these headphones on I can literally do gymnastics with them, and they won't break.They will just bend and act accordingly. To do a test on the durability of these things, I bent these back tip to tip on the other side, and they didn't break.
