I have found that Rose is The most relieving of my sensitivities. I found that green, yellow and orange steal all the joy out of my visual spectrum.I have theraspects, and I do not like them as much as I like these. Besides that point, I can break 12 pairs of these for the cost of one pair of Theraspecs.To me these are superior as they are dark enough for outside and light enough for inside, they are also very good for watching TV at night with light sensitivity. This is my second pair. I broke the first pair. I am often using these horizontal in bed with a headset on. wearing them for hours a day, the first pair lasted 8 months. I am just surprised how long I delayed replacing them because I missed them when they were gone.Part of my preference may come from the fit, these fit me better, the theraspects were sized properly but tend to fall off my face. I had brought them to be fitted but they still don't stay up on my nose so I end up pushing them up on to my hair and then when I need them. they've got hair grease on them. they are also scratched, probably because they've taken one too many tumbles off my face. They wrap snugly around my head and ears -- but not too close for a medium sized head. They seem sturdy despite their sleek slimness overall. They protect versus harmful UV rays in addition to being for *color therapy*. I chose the Baker-Miller Pink shade -- expecting this combo of pink, violet and brown to be rich, mellow and interesting -- as they indeed are. They are a great color to look at and easy to see out off -- not dark sunglasses at all -- only moderately shifting real life colors -- but indeed with a mellowing effect.
