At the emergency room he often avoided intubation with some mild sedation and oxygen flow. The emergency room is about 20 minutes away though and transportation is risky. These cans allow us to get oxygen to my dog to ease his laryngeal paralysis symptoms at home or while transporting him to the emergency room. This is not their original purpose but I do believe it saved my dog’s life on multiple occasions. I carry a can with me on walks as well as it is really portable. That being said, the quantity we need to purchase for our use case is large and these cans are pricey.
