They stuck well when first laid down. However when we pulled them up to vacuum and mop the stairs, the adhesive no longer sticks to the wooden stairs. They are worthless now. They slip all over the stairs and cause more of a slipping hazard for us and the aging dog that was falling down the stairs. (When the tiles were sticky they did help this situation, if they were actually removable and reattachable, I would rate them 5 stars.) We did not wash them and waited 4 days after mopping to put them back down on the floor (directions say 3 days). I feel Ike I read advice on reactivating the adhesive somewhere, but I cannot find it now. I’ve reached out to the manufacturer (weeks - maybe months ago) and have not heard anything back. Very disappointed, I would love to find a way to reactivate the adhesive and get these back on my slippery wooden steps. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Not totally non-slip *by A***N on Reviewed in the United States on March 28, 2019* I like these treads and they look great on our wooden stairs. Only problem was some of them moved around and I was constantly adjusting them into place. Some did stay situated, but very few. I ended up tacking them all down with very small half inch brads with flat heads.
