I got a new little Duster and tested the plastic cover over the gauges on my new 2024 Civic Touring and didn't see the metal end and scratched the plastic. It was deep enough to feel with my fingernail. I rubbed a little bit of this on and it was gone almost immediately. I used about a half of a pea size amount and rubbed it for about 20 seconds. Couldn't see it after that but I did it again just to be sure.
