Guar Gum is primarily the ground endosperm of guar beans. The guar seeds are dehusked, milled and screened to obtain the guar gum. It is typically produced as a free-flowing, off-white powder. Our Guar Gum is 100% pure of the best quality, neutral in smell and taste, and comes in the form of an extra fine powder. Our Guar Gum dissolves easily in water (Hot or Cold). Application examples: Guar Gum is used to thicken, bind ingredients and reduce water leakage. Breads & Dough - used in bread and dough for a softening (fluffy) effect Gels & Jelly - used in gels, jellys, fruit preparations and frozen produce to prevent water leakage by thickening liquids Ice Cream - used in ice cream and sorbets to prevent ice crystals forming and ruining flavours Foams - used in foams to improve stability and texture Binding - used in vegan and vegetarian foods as a meat and dairy free binder Directions for use: Add sparingly directly Typical Dosage: 3g to 5g per litre of liquid Storage Conditions: Store in a cool dry place out of direct sunlight
