Review: Finally some good paint pens! - I’ve ordered and received the 12 extra fine point pens and the 8 basic + 8 metallic brush pens. I’ve tried maybe 5 other brands, both fine/extra fine point and brush pens, including some dual tips. They all left me wanting much better. However, I’m not interested in paying lots of money on this stuff either. The colors are nice, though the brush pens required layering on Kraft card (I’ve not tried anything else yet). Not a problem for me as sometimes that’s the look I may go for. The brush pens all work well with consistent paint and flexible nibs. The extra fine point pens work well but watch out for splatters if you press too hard on a more textured paper, like a Kraft card. I’m a bit new to acrylic paint pens so this is my user error and not the pens themselves. Artistro solved my dilemma by making great paint pens that don’t bust my budget. They’re not super cheap but you get what you pay for on these things. I believe these are worth the extra little bit without paying even more for a more popular and expensive brand. I did have a problem with one of the extra fine point pens and contacted the company. Customer support responded quickly and to my satisfaction. I had contacted another company and still have yet to hear back from them so I was tickled with Artistro’s quick response and care. An extra note— not something I’ll take off a star for because I’m pleased overall and this is likely my own personal preference— the extra fine point pen colors are labeled on the pen caps. The brush pens, however, have no color identification. The package lists the color names so it’s okay but I might be slightly disappointed that colors are not labeled on the pens themselves. That’s a problem almost everywhere so I’m sure I’m dreaming but I’m legally blind and need help identifying many colors. All of that to say— I’ve not tried all their pens yet but I can safely and happily recommend Artistro paint pens.

I have no idea what prompted the original return of this product, but this is definitely my gain! The colors are vivid and sparklingly metallic! They do bleed a bit if you allow them to touch before dry, but they dry quite quickly. They write smoothly with no skips and catches. This was a very good value for my second-hand money, but I'd pay full price for these, for sure. I'll have to when these run dry.

**Q: How well do they work on fabric?**
A: I did a test and it bled, considerably. Then I checked box and it didn’t list fabric on it.

**Q: Is the ink water based? Thanks. 😀**
A: I would read the instructions on the Pen package that will tell you what the ink is made of.

**Q: Work on fabric? How durable?**
A: I don’t think they will work on fabric as they are not fabric pens. They are for drawing and scrapbooking. They are pretty durable but aren’t as sparkly as I’d hoped. They have to be shaken a ton.

**Q: Do these work well on resin?**
A: Yes i used them on resin Christmas ornaments and they were perfect.
