Each housing is machined using state of the art milling tools, which ensures surface integrity and provides a precision finish to the highest specification. The cover then incorporates a water-proof quartz clock which beautifully conceals the original fork stem nut. All clocks feature Luminescent hands and dials and have a "soft gasket" mounting system that helps insulate against the damaging effects of vibration. The clock instrument insert is a tight press fit into the casing - you should be able to prise it out of the casing using your nail or an old credit card or thin bladed instrument. The clock casing does not have to be removed from the vehicle once fitted to adjust the time – just the clock insert. The time can be adjusted via a small crown which is located under the vibration gasket on the clock insert. All of our clocks are fitted with a new RW329/UCC377 battery when we ship them - this should give approx 18 months to 2 years of continuous use. Replacement batteries are widely available from most good jewellery outlets. We machine the opening in the casing to be a tight fit for the insert, it is essential that when replacing the clock back into mount no gasket material can be seen. If you could measure the stem nut across the points of the nut - this is the diameter of the nut at its widest point, and email us this information. The clock has a probably chromed steel case and presses into the body with a silicone grommet. I bought one for a Royal Enfield 535 Continental and it needed a smidge turning out of the body to fit on the steering nut.
