Note that the packaging is incorrect and is in the process of being corrected. Review: Good for the price - I bought three of these, one for a dual stereo synths, and two more for a multitrack setup. They work well out of the box, didn't notice any noise and the plugs are solid. The end cables (the 4 splits), do feel a bit fragile, so id suggest use this for permanent installations, but i don't think these will break any time soon with proper usage. Review: Value value value - Can you do better value? If so I want to know where. For all practical purposes they are as good as they need to be. If when disconnecting you always grasp the metal connectors you'll likely never have a problem. I did check solder joints and all were fine. The only concern is the strain reliefs as I do not feel they exert enough pressure on the casing. My simple solution is to put a few wraps of hockey tape on the casing and reassemble to increase the bite. I have used in a live recording session on vocal condenser mics with no issues, all good. Am I happy, yep. ## Features - Buy with confidence: with Moonrise lifetime on all cables, you can rest assured we stand behind our products and our customers. - These XLR cable snakes feature four sets of male-to-female XLR Cables assembled into a single, soft and durable, cable jacket. - Each XLR connector has a silver metal Housing and is connected with a color coded wire, so you can quickly and easily make the right connections The first time, every time. - The cables are colored red, blue, white, and yellow. - Quality at a fair price: Moonrise rugged design and rigid quality control standards deliver high quality products at fair prices. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B009GUUER4 | | Best Sellers Rank | #9,919 in Musical Instruments ( See Top 100 in Musical Instruments ) #350 in Microphone Cables | | Brand | Monoprice | | Brand Name | Monoprice | | Cable Type | XLR | | Color | Blue,Silver,White | | Compatible Devices | DVD Player, Projector | | Compatible Phone Models | audio | | Connector Gender | Male-to-Female | | Connector Type | XLR | | Customer Package Type | FFP | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 2,831 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00844660087670 | | Included Components | Cable Cord | | Indoor Outdoor Usage | Indoor, Outdoor | | Item Length | 20 feet | | Item Shape | Round | | Item Weight | 0.93 kg | | Manufacturer | Monoprice Inc. | | Maximum Voltage | 10 volts | | Model | 108767 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Pins | 3 | | Other Special Features of the Product | Metal Connector Housings, Plastic and Rubber Cable Boots | | Part Number | 108767 | | Recommended Uses For Product | Audio | | Special Feature | Metal Connector Housings, Plastic and Rubber Cable Boots | | Specification Met | No | | UPC | 844660087670 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Warranty Description | Lifetime Warranty | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Monoprice - **Connector Type:** XLR - **Cable Type:** XLR - **Compatible Devices:** DVD Player, Projector - **Special Feature:** Metal Connector Housings, Plastic and Rubber Cable Boots ## Images ![Monoprice 4-Channel XLR Male to XLR Female Snake Cable - 20 Feet - Black/Silver, Metal Connector Housings, Plastic and Rubber Cable Boots - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71kr8R8paOL.jpg) ![Monoprice 4-Channel XLR Male to XLR Female Snake Cable - 20 Feet - Black/Silver, Metal Connector Housings, Plastic and Rubber Cable Boots - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81UW6VtueqL.jpg) ![Monoprice 4-Channel XLR Male to XLR Female Snake Cable - 20 Feet - Black/Silver, Metal Connector Housings, Plastic and Rubber Cable Boots - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81z54LjBx9L.jpg) ![Monoprice 4-Channel XLR Male to XLR Female Snake Cable - 20 Feet - Black/Silver, Metal Connector Housings, Plastic and Rubber Cable Boots - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81SEk4D-k0L.jpg) ![Monoprice 4-Channel XLR Male to XLR Female Snake Cable - 20 Feet - Black/Silver, Metal Connector Housings, Plastic and Rubber Cable Boots - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/31WFPvOvoPL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: How long are the individual fan-outs on the female connector side?** A: About 4 to 6 inches. I only need one 3-foot XLR cable extension for my purposes. **Q: Does anyone know what the "-Inch" in the description means?** A: It appears to me to be a couple of misprints in the descriptions. Where it says "for less than you're use d-Inch paying for...", you should probably read "for less than you're used-to paying for...". That's the only way the sentence makes sense to me. Also, Where it says "XLR Male-Inch XLR Female" under the picture, it should probably read "XLR Male-to-XLR Female. Someone seems to have put the word "Inch" everywhere the word "to" belonged. (Ain't word processors wonderful?) PS, they are great cables for this price. I bought 4 sets of the 10 ft ones for short runs from my wireless mic rack to the mixing console. **Q: Are the XLR nutric or standar?** A: Standard **Q: If i cut off a connector will there be 3 separate wires in the cable?** A: Yes, they are balanced cables. If you have any issues, like I did with these snakes, open the connectors up and use electrical tape to cover the excess exposed wire inside. I had several channels shorting out inside the connectors because they stripped too much wire before soldering. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good for the price *by A***. on November 14, 2024* I bought three of these, one for a dual stereo synths, and two more for a multitrack setup.
