We mounted it on a plant hanger on our daughter’s bedroom wall ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Requires a few extras to install *by J***X on Reviewed in the United States on December 31, 2018* This is a very cute chandelier, and it goes perfectly with the bedroom "oasis" I'm creating for myself, but it requires a few purchases if you're planning on using it as a swag light (the plug-in option.)Firstly, this did NOT come with lightbulbs, as many reviews stated it would. That seems to maybe be a luck of the draw thing. I got a 3-pack of LEDs for less than $8 at the hardware store, so not a huge expense - just annoying.Second, if you are planning on using this as a swag light and not hardwiring it into your existing electrical setup, you're also going to need at least two swag hooks and the associated hardware to install them. Again, a 2-pack of hooks is less than $3 so not too bad, but it should be considered in your budgeting.You'll want to install one hook in the place where you want the chandelier to hang, and another over closer to your wall outlet, so the cord can hang down and plug in easily. I hid mine behind a curtain. You will also want to cut the grounding wire which comes coiled up. Although maybe leave a few inches of length in case you ever do decide to hardwire the light later on.Last thing to know: there is no switch on this light. It's either plugged in and on, or unplugged and off. The only workaround I can think of is to spring for remote controlled LEDs or some other smart-lighting solution. Again, that's going to cost a bit more.Overall, I'm very pleased with the way this looks, and the relative ease with which it can be installed. I'm also thankful for the plug-in option, as the place I wanted the light to go isn't already wired. It is very cute. The color is as expected. There were some conflicting reviews about the size of the ceiling plate, on/off switch, and if it comes with a plug, so I am adding that information here in my review. It comes with a plug. It does not have an on/off switch. The ceiling plate is 4 5/8 inches wide. There is a grounding wire coming out of the top of the fixture for those that want to hard wire it.My husband hard wired mine in. It fits perfectly with the 10" "Victorian" medallion being sold here on Amazon  I did not caulk it to the ceiling because I am remodeling the room and the fixture will be moved. The light is as bright as the ceiling fan light that I was using. The measurements are detailed on the product specs so I knew it was a small fixture. My only complaint is that the manufacturer sticker was wrapped around one of the light stems. I had to use goof off to remove the glue, which was annoying.
