But for the price you pay, directions weren't that great and you still have to buy your own screws. Took an hour worth of research to figure out you need stainless steel pan head #10 screws. Why isn't that in the written instructions. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent hinges for pushing the gate shut instead of pulling *by B***R on Reviewed in the United States on March 4, 2017* We bought these for a new hidden door in our fence. It was important to me that everything be on the inside: the latch, the hinges, etc. Our fencing guy thought we would have to have the springs on the outside to get out inside-swinging gate to close. I did some research and came across these hinges, and they did the trick! Everything is inside the fence, with a little metal loop coming through to the street side to release the latch from that side. Really happy with these hinges!*UPDATE: I added some pictures to this review, including the sketch I did for our fencing guy to show what we were working with to begin with. It took some thinking to get the latch right, since I wanted everything on the inside and it didn't line up with the post to latch. We eventually worked out using a standard gate latch for the receptacle part of it, but for the pin that sticks out we used "Boerboel Standard Gate Latch 73023372 Black" which projects out further. Success! I LOVE that these hinges let me not worry about the kids forgetting to shut the gate, and keep the dog in the backyard. ### ⭐ Did not last first winter! *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on June 29, 2017* We purchased these hinges last September. They have completely failed to work 8 months later. When they were first installed, they worked perfectly, closing the gate and latching the Pool safety lock when only open 1 inch. After the winter without any adjustment to the hinge, the hinge stopped closing the same gate. The hinges refused to accept changes to the setting, refusing to "lock" into a tightening of the internal spring. Had to replace the hinges with new ones from Home Depot.
