A great book! This is a tour de force for anyone interested in the subject!The author provided a vast panoply of viewpoints on the question of the nature of death and its profound impact on the psyche and our lives. I found the writing in this book to be lighter and much easier to read than the previous book I had read by the same author. It’s a tremendous overview with some very exciting conclusions and questions raised. It would be challenging to attempt to write a summary here because the book covers so many interesting areas. My views on the subject have been profoundly affected. This book is highly recommended for anyone who wants to know!

I will admit that I usually do not read a whole lot, but I finished this book within a week. Grof has an interesting and insightful outlook on things discussed in my philosophy of death/ dying class and my comparative religions class. His work is more more comprehensive and entertaining than many original philosophers I have been forced to read. 10/10 good purchase
