I have it hooked up with Dish 4k Joey, Roku Ultimate, then a Fire TV - (The 1st gen 4k big black Box). It works and switches and extracts the audio via my toslink connection perfectly in full 4k/60 for the sources that support that. I went to switch out my Fire TV with a new Fire Stick 4k for increased app 4k compatibility and then ran into a problem... The picture switches fine, but the unit will NOT extract any audio. I have tried all audio settings on the switcher, and have even changed the audio settings within the fire stick - I cannot get the audio to pull under any set of options - even "stereo only" settings. The fire stick is fine - I tried it directly plugged into a normal 4K TV - picture and sound with no problems, so something about the latest gen Fire 4K is not compatible with this unit. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for Gamers or Media Fans *by 1***T on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on June 17, 2019* If you're like me, you most likely own multiple electronic devices that utilize HDMI output and you may have them set up on the same TV/monitor running concurrently. In most instances, the monitor/TV has the capability to support all of these devices through local support of multiple input channels with multiple ports. However, there are instances where either the video output device does not have the amount of cables necessary to support all of the desired devices, or they are in areas that are simply out of reach, such as in my case where after wallmounting my television I lost the ability to access two of my TV's HDMI ports as they are located on the back of the device.That's where this product comes into place. The HDMI switch allows users to easily plug in multiple devices (up to 4 devices at once) and easily toggle between each device via the included remote. No need to unplug one device in order to use another if your TV's ports are currently occupied. The added bonus of this HDMI switch is that it supports output of audio signals to external devices such as soundbars and speakers, and I was able to test this feature out by plugging in some external computer speakers to the appropriate port, this provides an extra touch of technology that allows users to benefit from the additional audio capabilities that this device supports.Overall, the framerate remained consistent on my games, no noticeable signal delays or lag from being plugged into this device instead of directly into my display. Lag was tested for by playing fighting games such as Mortal Kombat, Tekken, and Street Fighter and noticing if any input delay or framerate issues were present, which to my pleasant surprise they were not.
