I am using this with the Cuisinart 722-20 Chef's Classic Stainless 8-Inch Open Skillet and the fit is perfect. I read some reviews that it doesn't fit all pans which I could see as there would be no way for 1 cover to fit everything universally as even a small difference in design from manufacturer to manufacturer can result in the lip being different on different pans. I was ok with that as long as it mostly covered since I didn't have an 8 inch lid. As it turned out the fit is so perfect it almost feels custom made. I am super happy to recommend this product. edit 8/7/2014: I may have spoken too soon about the almost custom fit of the lid. Just noticed that it does leave a little gap. It looked snug on the front (side near me) but doesn't fit quite as tight all around. My pan inside diameter is 10 1/16", so I need a 10" diameter outside to outside edge of lip.** A: It fits my 10 3/8" saucepan very well. I just measured the diameter of the lid outside to outside edge is 10 1/8" which is larger than the inside diameter 10 1/16" of you pan; therefore, this lid will not fit your pan at all. **Q: I wonder if this would fit my 12" lodge cast iron skillet? Anyone know?** A: I think it will. I ordered this because I have a large fry pan and none of my lids was large enough. I needed a 12 inch lid and all mine were only 10 inches. Or could you just tell me inside diameter of the pan it is made for?** A: Well, the edges of the pan I have this lid for measure 12 inches in diameter. As the edges curve in, the bottom of the pan (inside) is 10 inches in diameter. If the top edges of your cast iron skillet is 12 inches, this may work.
