Does it hold a whole sleeve?** A: Yes, it does use standard staples. If I understand what you mean by “sleeve” — that’s one length of staples “right out of the box,” meaning you don’t need to beak any off to fit. Yes — as long as there are no staples in the stapler to start, and you gently push the “sleeve” all the way in, against the spring. Also, my staplers have a storage area on the underside, which holds one entire length of staples or sleeve. This is nice when using in an ongoing project, so if you run out, you can reload the staples right then.
