I saw this tape mentioned on a repair ... *by D***C on June 14, 2016* Though I've been using "red tape" for quite some time to adhere iPad digitizers...and with decent success, I'm always up for something better. I saw this tape mentioned on a repair forum and thought I'd give it a try. I can get the red tape in most any width, down to 1mm. This Tesa tape doesn't seem to be available in such a variety of widths so I'm having to custom cut pieces. That's no problem if it does it's job. Spending a few extra minutes on the initial repair beats having to go back and re-adhere a corner that has raised up. So far, I have had no issues with corners raising up. I still use red tape in areas where 2mm is needed. It's a bit tough trying to cut the Tesa tape into strips that narrow. FWIW, the "raising up" issue is often due to the iPad corners being beat up more than I can fix completely or the body being bowed, causing pressure that might make a part of the touchscreen pull away from the metal.
