Review: Really works great with Photon RT 4.5 S - I wanted to add an external IR light to extend the range of my Photon and this did the trick. Way brighter, can see 250-300 yards. Focus works great, etc. I almost spent more on some others but after seeing reviews on line and asking questions of the posters I gave this one a try. Hope it lasts, but have tested it out and really is a solid product for what you get in the kit. The remove tail switch is heavy duty. The zoom works smooth from the tail. Dimming works good but can see a slight IR flicker when dialed down to lowest dim setting. I also compared to a T-20 I have and it is way brighter! Hope this helps someone. Sounds like a popular IR light in other parts of the world but did not find many reviews in the US.
