We had to use pliers to open a few of them and in less than a day my husband lost THREE balls. These are well made. They are threaded, decent gauge for my tragus piercing and the right length. And the shiny gem cut earrings are really shiny. They sparkle like crazy in the light. The clear looking, plastic ones aren't just clear, they have different color glitter inside of each earring. This is totally worth the price!!!
