The shoes arrived 3 days sooner than expected also.The shoes themselves speaks for itself, they are handmade from the 1880 range of Loakes (premium side), some may not like this, but they are heavier than the rubber soled version, but this isn't a problem for me. I'm normally a size 6.5-7 and the chesters at 6.5 is a perfect fit.The shoes are boxed and each shoe wrapped in its own felt bag (like barkers), but that's all you get. The Tan is of a very nice finish and hand polished of a high quality... you can certainly smell the polish once you open the box!Have taken a couple of quick photos while writing this review. Will upload some more in a later update. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 3rd Pair in 10 years *by M***L on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 9 May 2019* I buy these for dancing shoes on the soul circuit because they have leather soles and heels and are very good quality. They do take a bit of breaking in but once they are they are very comfortable. I try to never wear them travelling to the venues and change once I'm there to make them last longer. I personally would not wear leather outside cause they are slippy and not water proof. This timeless quality is central to the Loake's look and apart from the leather soles, will not need to be replace for many years to come. They are great for work (I wear them with suits) and leisure. Take care with the leather soles - they will need to be slowly roughed up to prevent slipping.
