Installation wasn't that bad. I own a 2019 Tacoma TRD Off Road. For this model I needed to take the top plate off and removed the plastic seal to make it fit cleaner. Now that its on it looks perfect. Not truly sure how it does in the rain and all, but from what i have seen around this is totally worth the money. 1 YEAR LATER: I own a media company and haul stuff expensive gear around, nothing has been ruined but 100 percent not Waterproof. Not fun when you come out in the morning and the gear and tools you have in the bed are totally wet. The drains that you have to drill through the bed are totally useless. Kind of sad. I loved everything about this cover until about 4 months ago when it started leaking. Will be upgrading to a cap next. Over all I do still like this, just wish it lasted longer than that it did (1 year). Review: So glad we purchased! - I wish we had purchased this sooner. In the past, we had to put our luggage and other items that wouldn't fit in the cab in heavy-duty garbage bags to keep them protected from the elements when traveling. And, we had to move everything of value from the back of the truck to the cab if we stopped to eat along the way. Not anymore! We no longer have to worry about if it rains when we need to utilize the back of the truck. A sudden rain storm when road-tripping with the luggage in the back of the truck used to be a reason for panic and dread. Now, it's no big deal because everything is protected. Stopping to eat along the way - no problem. The hard top can't be cut so our things are safe. Simply running errands on the weekend and need to put stuff in the back - no problem. Again - the hard top keeps things from being stolen while you're in the next store. Something too big to fit, under - no worries! The top rolls up like a garage door so you can use the open bed if needed. If you're considering buying a truck-bed cover I highly recommend this one! ## Features - FITS 2015–2026 TOYOTA TACOMA 5FT (60") BED β€” Precision-fit for Tacoma beds, crew cab and extended cab. Compatible with spray-in or drop-in bed liners. Message us your year and trim to confirm fit before ordering. - 6063-T5 AEROSPACE-GRADE ALUMINUM β€” 600 LBS CAPACITY, DUAL-LOCK SECURITY, 3-YEAR COVERAGE: Built from the same alloy used in structural aerospace applications β€” resists warping, denting, and corrosion through freezing winters, summer heat, and road salt. Supports 600 lbs of evenly distributed static weight. Dual-lock system locks both sides simultaneously with one key β€” cover cannot retract while locked. Backed by Syneticusa's 3-year manufacturer coverage. - WATERPROOF & ALL-WEATHER RATED β€” CAR WASH SAFE, COLD CLIMATE TESTED: Full-length EPDM rubber weatherstripping seals both rails, front, and rear. Four integrated 1-inch drain tubes channel water away from cargo in heavy rain, snow, and sleet. Matte black powder-coat finish resists fading and scratching. Safe for touchless and soft-brush automatic car washes. EPDM seals stay pliable in freezing temperatures. - NO-DRILL BOLT-ON INSTALL β€” ONE PERSON, 60–90 MIN. Note: four 1-inch holes required for drain tube installation. - LOW-PROFILE RETRACTABLE DESIGN β€” EASY TO CLEAN, MINIMAL MAINTENANCE: Flush-mount matte black aluminum slats sit tight against the cab roofline for a clean factory appearance with no flutter at highway speed. Clean with car wash soap and water β€” no special products needed. Only routine maintenance: apply included lubricant oil to rails every 6 months for smooth, quiet retraction year-round. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07RG83C5S | | Automotive Fit Type | Vehicle Specific Fit | | Best Sellers Rank | #733,701 in Automotive ( See Top 100 in Automotive ) #1,164 in Truck Tonneau Covers | | Brand | Syneticusa | | Brand Name | Syneticusa | | Customer Reviews | 4.2 out of 5 stars 300 Reviews | | Exterior Finish | Aluminum | | Included Components | Side rails, Weather seal strip, Cover assembly, Mounting clamps | | Item Highlight | Hard Truck Bed Cover, 6063-T5 Aluminum, Double Lock, Waterproof, Low Profile, 600lb Capacity, 3-Year Warranty | | Lock Type | Key | | Manufacturer | Syneticusa | | Manufacturer Part Number | TCR-TACO-16-5 | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | 3 Year Warranty | | Material | Aluminum | | Material Type | Aluminum | | Model Number | RT6A-Tacoma | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Style | Retractable | | Style Name | Retractable | | Unit Count | 5 Count | | Weight Capacity Maximum | 500 pounds | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Syneticusa - **Exterior Finish:** Aluminum - **Lock Type:** Key - **Material:** Aluminum - **Style:** Retractable ## Images ![Syneticusa MB Retractable Tonneau Cover fit 2016-2027 Tacoma 5ft (60”) Bed - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61pyZf0Fx+L.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: What trucks does this cover fit?** A: Fits 2015-2026 Toyota Tacoma 5ft (60") bed, compatible with factory deck rails. Message us your year and trim to confirm. **Q: Is the cover waterproof?** A: Yes. Sealed EPDM rubber weatherstripping runs the full length of both rails with front and rear seals. Four 1-inch drain tubes channel water out of the canister. Handles heavy rain, snow, and sleet. Not designed for full submersion. **Q: How secure is the locking system?** A: Dual-lock system locks both driver and passenger sides simultaneously with one key. Cover cannot retract while locked. Requires drilling four 1-inch holes for drain tubes. Full removal takes ~10 min β€” loosen 6 clamps and lift off. Mounts over the bed rail using 6 clamps β€” does not touch the bed floor. Also works with factory Tacoma bed utility rails (deck rails). ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Awesome... *by N***I on November 23, 2019* This "cover" is very clean looking and easy to use. Videos online were helpful. Drain tubes are useless as they are too big for the drain holes in the bed of the truck (β€˜26 Toyota Tacoma). Low profile and slick looking though. ## Frequently Bought Together - Syneticusa MB Retractable Hard Truck Bed Tonneau Cover Fits 2016-2025 Tacoma 5' (60") Box Powder Coated Matte Black Aluminum Waterproof Accessories - JKCOVER Center Console Accessory Organizer Compatible with Toyota Tacoma 2016 2017 2018 2019 2020 2021 2022 2023, ABS Material Box Insert Tray (Black trim) - Genuine Toyota Accessories PT580-35050-SB Bed Mat for Short Bed Tacoma Models Black, 59 1/2" L X 52 1/2" W X 3/8" H --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/136745641-syneticusa-mb-retractable-tonneau-cover-fit-2016-2027-tacoma-5ft](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/136745641-syneticusa-mb-retractable-tonneau-cover-fit-2016-2027-tacoma-5ft) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-11*
