Some other strips I have used literally took off a layer of skin, hair removal lotion gave me chemical burns. These are sticky but light enough to just grab the hair and not rip your face off. I have mostly fine hair/long peach fuzz, but I do have some thick hairs that have shown up on my chin and around my mouth as I creep closer to 40. As long as the hair is long enough these do a great job getting 98% of them. If you wax too often the hairs won't be long enough for the wax to grip. Some hairs will be left behind with any strips you use-hairs don't all grow to the same length at the same angle. I just spend a minute or two plucking the remainder, usually the thicker ones, and then apply the lotion and I am good to go! I have acne prone skin but the lotion does not seem to clog my pores. If you are worried about it wash your face and go over it with some toner a few hours after waxing or before bed to make sure no dirt gets sealed in by the lotion. The strips are more effective when the wax is loosened up, rub the strip between your hands before using so the wax gets warm and pliable. You will definitely want to do this if you live in a colder climate like I do-it makes a huge difference.

**Q: How do you use? Warm the strip or what?**
A: Just take the strip and rub it between your palms for a few seconds. The friction warms the strip and wax.

**Q: Can it be used for bikini area since it's natural?**
A: These strips are specific to the face. I believe though, that this company makes strips for the bikini area.

**Q: Can you use these on your legs and if so howany times can you use it before the box is empty?**
A: However many times it takes to get all the hair off. Are you a really hairy person? If so you might want to buy multiple boxes I use it for waxing eyebrows and lip so I cut to fit and last long time.

**Q: How do you use?**
A: Hi! I use these to get rid of my "mustache" every so often. I cut a sheet into strips the width of the space between my nose and upper lip. Then I hold each piece under the hot air of my hairdryer for about 30 seconds. Peel each piece apart, press one waxy side firmly on the hair, rub back and forth a few seconds and RIP OFF! I takes about 4 of these small pieces to completely remove all hair. Therefore this one box has lasted years and saved me lots of money and trips to the salon.

### ⭐ Surprisingly awful

First off, I am a HUGE fan of the GiGi wax system; however, I am moving so it's packed away and I was looking for a quick easy solution so knowing how I like my typical product I was hands down convinced this would be decent. However, I used the entire box and it barely removed any hair at all. I tried my upper lip, chin, the side of my face, under my lip, etc. It took a few of the hairs off but maybe 10% of them from each of the areas. I've been waxing with GiGi for years and I have no problems typically. This definintely is easy to use, it's gentle, but it doesn't do what it's supposed to. Unfortunately, I'm back to the drawing board until I move and unpack my wax pot. Womp womp.
