The product comes in a well made box, thoughtfully packaged, even includes a pouch for travel. The piece feels solid in the hand, material and finish is top notch, and the lip that slides under your laptop to improve stability is a great design feature. I plugged it into my MacBook Pro and everything just works. No fiddling, truly plug-n-play. As seen in the picture, I have the piece driving two external displays along with several USB connections. When I travel, I'd simply slide the piece out with all the cables attached, leave it behind as-is and use the second unit in my briefcase on the road.
