The gauges are clear and easy to read. The hoses are high quality, as are the included adapters. I can't comment on the r134a puncture valve, I haven't tried that just yet. It's pretty quiet, it's not the fastest at 3cfm but for something like a mini split or home AC it's more than fast enough. I let it run until all indication of air in the line stops (bubbles or burbling sounds) and then an extra 5 mins to make sure. Easy squeezy and for the price, I don't know that you can beat it--even at Hazard Fraught. As someone else said, the little cap for the oil port is very easy to lose...but whatever. I bought this to install a TOSOT 18,000 BTU Mini-Split, but you could use it for anything needing vacuum. The video I followed to install my unit suggested this vacuum pump and indicated it included "all gauges and adapters", and this turned out to be incorrect. My ONLY beef with this item is that, as far as I can tell, NOWHERE does it list what size adapters are included. I wish that I could tell you what they ARE, but I can't, I don't know. I know that the standard mini-split 5/16" is NOT in the box. 5/16 Inch Female Quick Coupler to 1/4 Inch Male Flare is the adapter you'll need for a mini split. There are lots of options, the one I ordered was $7 and came in two days and fit perfectly.
