Model 5/120, which was manufactured in the beginning, is now one of the most sought-after collectibles. This thin line electric guitar is not only a valuable, high quality, technically mature handmade instrument with beautiful optical characteristics, it was also the very first Framus signature model. ## Features - Laminated Spruce Top - Mahogany Neck - Rosewood Fingerboard - 2 Vintage Single coil Pickups ## Images ![Framus Vintage Billy Lorento FR05120BILORJGV30 - Electric Guitar - Black High Polish - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71npJXx6ImL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐ 2.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful, but malfunctioned *by C***N on Reviewed in the United States on August 6, 2017* Unlike the prior poster, I thought this is the most beautiful guitar I've ever seen. Reflective silver pickguard suspended in air against a glossy black background. Also, these Framus guitars are impressively precision machined (as would be expected from a German guitar).Unfortunately, my pickup had some kind of electrical malfunction, so had to return. Would have loved to keep this.In my opinion, sound is primarily only suitable for a jazz guitar. ### ⭐⭐ 2.0 out of 5 stars The Billy Lorento that I got had such poor finish work *by R***N on Reviewed in the United States on November 18, 2016* Framus really let me down on this one. The Billy Lorento that I got had such poor finish work, broken parts, etc, it wasn't even funny. But even if it had been in stellar shape, I cant see this guitar being worth more than $300. It was just not high quality in any way up close and the sound wasn't great either. To each his own, but considering that these have sold in Europe for $500 Euros, I think the price Amazon lists these for makes them seem like way more than they really are. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/13697215-framus-vintage-billy-lorento-fr05120bilorjgv30-electric-guitar-black-high-polish](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/13697215-framus-vintage-billy-lorento-fr05120bilorjgv30-electric-guitar-black-high-polish) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-01*
