Open front allows deer, horses, beef and dairy cattle, sheep and goats easy access to the lick. Small size makes it easy to provide salt licks for every stall and pasture with out having to lug around heavy 50lb salt blocks.

I bought three of these, one for each of my horse stalls and they not only look good, but do the job they are supposed to do, which is to hold the mineral block in place. It’s easy assess for the horse and off the floor. The holder is easy to install and very sturdy. I would recommend this product to anyone.

We’ll this study salt lick sure does the job. I saw my horse’s lips glued to the wall one hot day. Strange I thought. I then realized she was licking her salt mineral block. This is a very sturdy salt block. It would be nice if stainless steel screws were provided (salt + water = corrosion on regular steel screws).
