Ten years after having held a Shelby American "garage sale", Carroll Shelby began the search for a Cobra Daytona Coupe that he could buy.  CSX2300, the "Ford of France Coupe", a car that had been sold in the "garage sale", was located in Japan, purchased, and returned to Shelby. The car went into storage for a number of years before a full restoration was completed in 1983! The Restored Cobra Daytona Coupe has been displayed at numerous events since then and is the pride of Shelby's personal collection.  Our diecast miniature captures Carroll Shelby's beautifully Restored Cobra Daytona Coupe in it's full glory. Topping it off, however, is a wonderful addition: Carroll Shelby's signature carefully applied to the roof of each replica!
